How we handle your data: Google Analytics, your consent controls, and what we never collect.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
Dungeon Quest Reborn Guide (https://dungeonquest-reborn.wiki) is a static, educational companion wiki. We do not require account registration, login credentials, email subscriptions, or payment information. We do not collect, store, or sell any personally identifiable information (PII).
2. Cookies and Local Storage
We use standard client-side browser Local Storage for functional preferences only:
- Remembering your preferred visual theme (Dark Mode vs Light Mode).
- Caching UI interaction states (such as collapsed accordion panels) during your active session.
In addition, the third-party services described below (Google Analytics and Adsterra advertising) may set their own cookies and read device identifiers. These are governed by your consent choice and are explained in Sections 3 and 4.
3. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-TZV460S1WW) to understand which guide pages are read and how the site is used. Google Analytics may collect:
- Pages viewed, approximate geographic region (derived from your IP address), device and browser type, and referral source.
- Cookies such as
_ga,_ga_*(a container-specific identifier), and_gidto distinguish visitors and sessions.
You can prevent this tracking with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by rejecting non-essential cookies via the consent controls described in Section 5.
4. Third-Party Advertising (Adsterra)
Display and floating advertising on this site is served through the third-party advertising network Adsterra. Adsterra and its advertising partners may set or read cookies on their own domains and process your IP address and device identifiers in order to select, deliver, and measure ads. The Adsterra ad scripts used by this site are only requested after you accept non-essential cookies: if you reject them, no Adsterra script is loaded at all, and if you withdraw consent the scripts are removed and the ad slots are emptied immediately, without waiting for a page reload.
Third-party vendors, including Adsterra and Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time using the links in section 5 below. Advertising is only personalised where you have given consent; where consent is required and not yet given, we request non-personalised ads.
This site also carries a Google AdSense publisher verification meta tag (ca-pub-5616611657030412) for account verification.
You can manage or disable personalised advertising at any time in Google Ad Settings, via the YourAdChoices opt-out, or (in the EEA) at Your Online Choices.
5. Consent and Your Choices
We use Google Consent Mode v2. The default consent signal depends on your region:
- EEA & UK visitors are asked for consent before any non-essential cookies (analytics or advertising) are set. Until you choose, only strictly necessary functionality remains enabled.
- Visitors elsewhere have non-essential cookies enabled by default, and can still reject them.
In the EEA and UK the consent panel is shown to you proactively on first visit. Elsewhere it is not shown automatically (non-essential cookies are enabled by default there), but the same control is always available from the site footer.
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer. Choosing "Reject non-essential" deletes the Google identifiers and immediately removes third-party ad scripts (Adsterra) and empties ad slots, without a page reload. Cookies set by the Adsterra ad network are stored under Adsterra's own domains rather than ours, so this site cannot delete them directly; you can clear them through your browser's cookie controls or via the opt-out links above. We do not sell personal information, and we honor Do-Not-Sell / opt-out signals where required.
6. Third-Party Links & Embedded Media
Our website provides contextual references, external links to the official Roblox game page, and educational video embeds from YouTube creators covering combat tactics. When interacting with third-party platforms (such as clicking external links or playing embedded videos), their respective privacy policies and terms apply.
7. Children's Online Privacy Protection (COPPA)
Because Dungeon Quest Reborn is played on Roblox by a diverse community, our website adheres strictly to privacy-first standards. We do not knowingly solicit or collect information from children under the age of 13. All content is accessible freely and anonymously without form submissions.
8. Hosting & Infrastructure Security
This static website is delivered via high-performance secure edge networks with full SSL/TLS encryption. Standard server access logs (including anonymous IP addresses, user-agent headers, and request timestamps) are processed transiently for DDoS defense and server health monitoring.
