What spells are

Spells (also called skills or abilities) are one of the three loot families in Dungeon Quest Reborn, alongside weapons and armor. They scale with Spell Power, which makes them the core of any Mage build.

Active abilities; scaling tied to Spell Power.

How they work

  • Spells are active abilities rather than passive stats — they belong to the spells loot family alongside weapons and armor.
  • Their damage scales with Spell Power, so a Mage build should keep skill points and stat rolls on the Spell axis.
  • Keeping a spell that deals damage while you move helps you hold boss uptime during short recovery windows.

How to get spells

  • Run dungeons — spells drop as part of the regular loot pool alongside weapons and armor.
  • Higher tiers raise both enemy scaling and rewards, so later dungeons in the route are the usual target for spell farming.
  • Check the Req Lvl before committing: a spell you cannot equip yet is a project, not a build piece.

Spell questions

Is Phantom Flames in Dungeon Quest Reborn?

We don't publish a verified spell roster. Spell names and effects move between server builds during Early Access, so confirm any specific spell — including Phantom Flames — in the in-game spell list before investing in it.

Is Fire Bomb in Dungeon Quest Reborn?

As with every named spell, we don't republish an unverified list. Check the in-game spell menu for current names and effects; we only document the systems that stay stable across builds.

Is there a Dungeon Quest Reborn spell tier list?

Not one we would trust. A spell's value depends on your build axis and the stats the drop rolled, and the roster shifts during Early Access. Use the gear-evaluation checklist instead of copying a ranking.

What's the difference between spells and skills in Dungeon Quest Reborn?

Players use both words for the same family of active abilities. In our data model they are the spells loot family — active abilities that scale with Spell Power.

We don’t publish a spell roster

Dungeon Quest Reborn is in Early Access and spell names, effects and availability move between server builds. Any static “all spells” list would be stale the moment it is published — so we document the system instead and ask you to confirm names in the in-game spell list.

The two legendary spells, and the cheaper stand-in

Dungeon Quest Reborn: The 2 BEST META Spells In The Game (Ultimate Beginners Guide)

Spell names below come from auto-generated captions, which render the acronyms phonetically (EIF / EIR).

  • The creator states there are exactly two legendary spells in Dungeon Quest Reborn — Enhanced Inner Focus (EIF) and Enhanced Inner Rage (EIR).
  • Both grant a movement-speed buff and a 90% damage buff, and both exist in Mage and Warrior versions.
  • Inner Focus is the cheaper stand-in: the same effect for 10% less damage.
  • On the creator's own damage test: roughly 6.3 trillion without the buff, about 11.5 trillion with it.

Build around spells

Spells reward a single committed axis: put skill points and stat rolls into Spell Power, use spell weapon archetypes, and keep a damage source you can use while moving so you hold boss uptime.
